Our grandson will be 5 years old in September. We made it clear to our grandson that he was a big boy and that these tools were not toys. His parents had made him a tool box, and initially, they thought this could be a good addition to it. When he and Grampa opened the box, they discussed each tool and our grandson was thrilled with the safety glasses. His parents were impressed, and Grampa believes it was worth the price. I would give this product 5 stars in every way. Passing on your skills to your child or grandchild is a wonderful gift. We need to pass on our skills and talents to the younger generation before they become immersed in a couch potato lifestyle. They will be proud of themselves for the rest of their lives.
We got 2 sets for our twins for their 6th birthday. They are taking a woodworking class and were asking for the real tools. The tool set looked exactly what we were looking for - the real tools for the children's small hands, the sturdy belt and the bag. When the sets arrived - we were absolutely blown away with the quality of the products. You can see how much love and thought there was put by the creators of this product. They included a letter with a story how it came about and it makes it so personable. I would like to Thank DIY jr for doing a great job and offering these unique, high quality products for children. My husband now jokes that this is the best tool set we have in our home :). Worth every penny. Kids love it!
